I'm so excited to see you next week!

For those of you returning, things will look a little different, as The Piano Room and I have changed locations this summer...

...(it looks so empty)

We made some awesome memories and some awesome music in that room ♥ Are you ready to make some more at 82 Main St? ☺ I'm still in St. Stephen just around the corner from where we were, and the piano bench is waiting for you!

Welcome Info & Reminders

  1. Lessons will be held at 82 Main St, St Stephen (unless previously arranged with the instructor).
  2. Lessons are 30 minutes each week, for 12 weeks.
  3. You can check your lesson schedule by signing into the Student Portal and clicking the CALENDAR TAB over to the left. Make sure to look peruse all the TABS for things like Lesson Notes, Attendance, Resources, and more. You can even record your   Practice  ... Play-Time! (we don't really use that 'P' word around here...we'll talk more about that when we meet.) ☺ 
  4. Returning students: remember your binder!
  5. New students: if you have a small binder at home not in use, bring it along. If not one will be provided.
  6. Please read the updated Studio Policies here.

THE PIANO ROOM | POLICIES

Cancellation Policy

Students are expected to arrive on time, on the day previously arranged with the music teacher.. If for any reason you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson, please let the teacher know asap. There will be one make-up credit available per term in the event of student illness or scheduling issues. 

Any lesson(s) missed by the teacher during the term (due to illness or unforeseen emergency) will be made up - either during that same week or at the end of the term.

COVID Policy 

  1. A student’s personal and private information, medical or otherwise, will never be asked or required.
  2. The teacher will clean and sanitize the piano keyboard before and/or in between each lesson.
  3. The teacher will wash their hands before each lesson.
  4. The teacher will wear a mask if requested by a student or parent.
  5. The teacher will cancel (or reschedule if possible) the lesson if experiencing any symptoms.
  6. There will be a sink available for students to wash their hands before and after the lesson, and hand sanitizer will be available as well.
  7. Masks are optional for students, please bring your own.
  8. The student will inform the teacher as early as possible if experiencing symptoms, and the lesson will be cancelled.
  9. Any updates or changes to this policy will be emailed to you.
  10. If you are taking extra precaution lessons are available online.
